Launched in India, the Tata Tigor CNG AMT is now available in two fully loaded variants marking a significant milestone in the compact sedan segment and this release makes it the first compact sedan to offer a CNG-enabled automatic transmission showcasing Tata's commitment to innovation.
CNG AMT Petrol Engine
Powering the Tigor CNG AMT is Tata's 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 72bhp/95Nm and paired with a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). In its petrol avatar, this engine generates 84bhp/114Nm. This engine setup is also found in the Tiago CNG and may potentially extend to other models like the Punch and Altroz CNG in the future.

Variant Details
The XZA variant boasts premium features such as chrome exterior garnish, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, tri-arrow seat inserts, a 7.0-inch infotainment display, power windows and mirrors, and a rear armrest with cup holders. On the other hand, the XZA Plus variant offers additional amenities like projector headlamps, a rear power outlet, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, four tweeters, a USB-C charging port, digital climate control, automatic headlamps, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), push-button start, and rain-sensing wipers.
