In Gujarat, a brand new Tata Punch AMT Accomplished variant caught fire with the passengers inside. According to its owner, the SUV caught fire and endangered the lives of his entire family. This Tata Punch was said to have been acquired only a month ago. It was seen producing a massive blaze in the middle of a roadway in images and a video shared online.
The front-end fire spread throughout the car and had to be smothered, leaving colossal devastation. The owner, Prabal Bordiya, noted in an email that he had "very little time to react," and he went on to submit a police report about the incident. "It is vital to share this tale with the larger public to raise awareness of the problem and to pressure Tata Motors to take proper action," he says.
The cause of the incident is still being investigated, and no particular party can be blamed just yet. Bordiya went on to say that he brings this up to raise awareness: ".... car manufacturers must take the required procedures to ensure their vehicles are safe for use and situations like this can be avoided." Whatever the cause, it is too early to pass judgement right now.

We are engaging with the customer and investigating agencies to offer all possible support and will be conducting a detailed investigation to ascertain the facts/ reasons for this unfortunate incident. Safety of vehicles and their users remains our foremost priority at Tata Motors.”
