Tata's new touchscreen is now one of the largest in the market, measuring 10.25 inches. An integrated voice assistant, an enhanced reverse camera, a customized EV display motif, and wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are among the features. Tata has also included voice commands that recognize English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi.

Apart from the new touchscreen, it has an all-black interior with blue highlights around the Air vents and the EV's tri-arrow motif. The seats are decorated in black with blue stitching while the head restraints have dark stitching.

A sunroof, an air purifier with an AQI display, cruise control, a wireless smartphone charger, a cooled glove box, rear air conditioning vents, and other features distinguish the Nexon EV Max Dark. All other specifications are the same as the Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux versions. It also has the same semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch MID and the knurled drive selector in the centre, along with its own handy display.

Two airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS, and other safety features are included in the Nexon EV Max Dark edition. While the Nexon EV Max has not yet been tested by Global NCAP, the Nexon ICE received a 5-star rating under prior testing standards.

The exterior is identical to Tata's previous Dark Edition vehicles. The standard model has 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, but this one has a Charcoal Grey finish.

Under the hood, not much has changed either. The 40.5kWh battery continues to operate the electric motor. It generates 143 hp and 250 Nm of torque, which powers the front wheels. The same drive modes are still available: City, Eco, and Sport. But power in the first two is limited to 97 hp and 170 Nm.
