Tata Nexon EV Max and Prime Receive Year-End Discounts of Up to Rs. 2.60 Lakh

Tata Nexon EV Max and Prime Receive Year-End Discounts of Up to Rs. 2.60 Lakh

Tata Motors launched the Nexon EV facelift in September, yet dealers still grapple with unsold pre-facelift Nexon EVs. The company is now providing year-end benefits of up to Rs 2.60 lakh on these models, available until December 31 or while stocks last. Customers should note that discounts vary by location and are subject to stock availability, requiring confirmation from local dealers.

Pre-Facelift Nexon EV Discounts

Tata Motors is extending a cash discount of Rs 1.40 lakh on all variants of the pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime, complemented by an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. Similarly, all variants of the pre-facelift Nexon EV Max are listed with cash discounts of Rs 2.10 lakh, along with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. Corporate offers are not applicable to either variant.

For context, the pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime was initially priced between Rs 14.50 lakh and Rs 17.19 lakh. Customers can now acquire it for a reduced cost ranging between Rs 12.60 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh post discount. The pre-facelift Max variants, originally priced between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 19.54 lakh, now come with reduced prices ranging from Rs 13.89 lakh to Rs 16.94 lakh after factoring in the discounts.

Nexon EV vs. XUV400 EV Discounts

The Nexon EV's rival, the XUV400 EV, is also featuring attractive year-end discounts to clear slow-selling inventory. The XUV400 EV is available with benefits ranging from Rs 1.70 lakh for the lower-spec EC trim to an impressive Rs 4.20 lakh for the top-spec XL trim. This makes the XUV400 EV effectively available for a price ranging between Rs 14.29 lakh and Rs 15.19 lakh after applying the discounts.

Post discounts, the Nexon EV is more budget-friendly for the lower-range model, while the XUV400 EV is more economical for the long-range version. Despite the competition, the pre-facelift Nexon EV stands out as an enticing option with its strengths.

Year-End Benefits on Facelifted Nexon EV

Additionally, Tata Motors is offering benefits of up to Rs 35,000 on the facelifted Nexon EV. However, these benefits are applicable only to the mid-spec Fearless+ and Fearless+ S trim of both the Medium-Range (MR) and Long-Range (LR) variants, which are priced between Rs 16.69 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh.

Nexon EV Range and Specifications

In terms of specifications and range, the Nexon EV Prime is powered by a 129hp electric motor and a 30.2kWh battery pack, offering an ARAI-certified range of 312km. Meanwhile, the Nexon EV Max boasts a 143hp electric motor with a 40.5kWh battery, providing an ARAI-certified range of 437km. The facelifted Nexon EV MR and LR retain the same batteries but see an increase in range to 325km and 465km, respectively, with the power output remaining unchanged.
