The Nexon CNG will be powered by the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine as the regular version, delivering 120 PS and 170 Nm. However, the power output is expected to be slightly reduced in CNG mode. Tata is likely to offer both 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options, although official performance and mileage figures are yet to be revealed.

While it's uncertain which variants will receive the CNG option, a top-spec Nexon CNG could potentially become the most feature-rich CNG SUV in the market.
