Tata Motors has released its monthly sales report for October 2023 demonstrating impressive growth. The automaker sold a total of 48,337 units marking a substantial 7 percent year-on-year increase compared to the previous year's 45,217 units.
Electric Vehicle Sales Surge
- Tata Motors also witnessed remarkable growth in electric vehicle (EV) sales. EV sales for the carmaker saw a significant 28 percent increase in October with 5,465 units sold compared to 4,277 units in the same month the previous year.
Exports Show Robust Performance
- In the export segment, Tata Motors recorded a shipment of 300 units in October 2023. This figure reflects a notable 46 percent growth compared to the 206 units exported in October 2022.
Tata Motors' strong performance in October can be attributed to recent launches, including the Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier facelift, and Safari facelift in India. Furthermore, the business is currently testing the new Tata Punch EV and the Curvv SUV both of which are expected to make their Indian market debut in the near future, and this points to a bright future for Tata Motors in the following months.
