Understanding the Pricing Structure

With prices starting at Rs 7,89,900, these CNG automatic variants come at a slight premium of Rs 55,000 over their manual counterparts. However, customers have the flexibility to choose between different variants based on their preferences and budget. Opting for the top-spec models not only enhances the driving experience but also offers additional comfort and convenience features.

Balancing Fuel Efficiency and Performance

Despite the transition to CNG, these Tata models maintain impressive fuel efficiency, boasting a claimed mileage of 28.06 km per kilogram of CNG. While the power output may slightly reduce in CNG mode compared to petrol, the performance remains reliable and suitable for everyday commuting needs. This ensures that customers can enjoy both economical fuel consumption and satisfactory driving performance.

Competitive Landscape and Market Positioning

Currently, there are no other CNG automatic models available in the Indian market, giving Tata a competitive edge in this segment. These models directly compete with similar CNG variants from leading manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Tata hopes to take a sizable chunk of the market's eco-friendly and automated gearbox divisions by providing a special blend of CNG fuel technology and automatic gearbox.

Tata's commitment to sustainability and innovation is demonstrated by their decision to offer CNG automated versions of the Tiago and Tigor. By offering customers more choices for fuel and gearbox types, Tata Motors is paving the way for a more ecologically conscious and effectively operated future in the Indian automotive sector.
