Suzuki Gixxer 250 Series Launched in Japan: The Made-in-India Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 have been recently launched by the brand in the Japanese markets at a price tag of 448,800 yen (INR 3.07 lakh) and 481,800 yen (INR 3.30 lakh) respectively. Both the fully-faired sports machine and the naked sports motorcycle features identical design language when compared to the ones sold in the Indian markets. The brand has offered both the motorcycle variants with a split seat setup while the pillion seat has been equipped with a two-piece grab rail at the back. The sports motorcycle variants feature a digital instrument cluster while the exhaust tips have been offered a similar chrome treatment. On the other hand, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 can be availed in Matte Black Metallic and Matt Platinum Silver Metallic with Matt Black Metallic dual-tone colour scheme. Suzuki Gixxer 250 series is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 26HP and an utmost torque of 22Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox while complying with Japan’s 2016 domestic emission norms. The suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a mono-shock absorber. The 250cc motorcycle variants get disc brakes at either side mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard.
