Lower Material Costs: The cost of materials, particularly batteries, is a major factor in the price of hybrids. As demand for EVs and hybrids grows, and technology advances, the cost of these materials is expected to decrease. This trend could lead to more affordable hybrid vehicles.
Discount Incentives: In addition to tax reductions, other financial incentives could help make hybrids more appealing. These might include government-backed discounts or manufacturer promotions, especially for customers who trade in older petrol or diesel vehicles for hybrids.
