Skoda has made some notable changes to the Kushaq and Slavia cars. One major update is the return of the larger 10-inch 'Skoda Play' touchscreen. This touchscreen had been replaced with a smaller 8-inch one in May 2022 due to a shortage of semiconductors. However, it has now made its way back into the top-spec Style variants of both the Kushaq and Slavia. This screen offers more screen real estate and a modern interface.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Are Back
With the 10-inch touchscreen's return, Skoda has also brought back wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on both the Kushaq and Slavia Style variants. This eliminates the need to deal with the inconvenience of connecting cords to connect your smartphone to the infotainment system in your vehicle. This is a convenient solution for people who wish to use their phone apps and music while they are on the go.
Additional Features and Variants
Apart from the larger touchscreen, Skoda has introduced a few other changes. The 10-inch screen will also be available on the Kushaq Monte Carlo and Slavia Matte Edition variants. However, the mid-tier Ambition variants will continue with the 8.0-inch screen. It's important to note that Skoda has removed the dongle connectivity feature from the Ambition variants of both models. So, if you want a bigger screen and wireless connectivity, you'll need to go for the Style or special edition variants.
New Alloy Wheels for Kushaq
Another update for the Kushaq is the introduction of new alloy wheels. The top-spec Style trim now offers a single-tone silver 17-inch alloy wheel design, replacing the previous dual-tone, twin five-spoke gun metal alloys. These new wheels resemble the ones offered with the Volkswagen Tiguan, albeit a bit smaller in size.
Revised Pricing
After these updates, the pricing for the Slavia range is as follows, it varies between Rs 10.89 lakh and 16.72 lakh for the 1.0 TSI variants and between Rs 15.04 lakh and 19.12 lakh for the 1.5 TSI variants. Meanwhile, the Kushaq models are priced from Rs 10.89 lakh to 18.41 lakh for the 1.0 TSI variants and from Rs 15.17 lakh to 20 lakh for the 1.5 TSI variants. With these modifications, buyers should have more options and better functionality in their Skoda cars.
