Skoda is gearing up to unveil the facelifted design of the Octavia, with a sneak peek of its sketches revealed ahead of its global debut on February 14th and the refreshed sedan will sport subtle cosmetic enhancements and introduce some new features. Although the India launch is anticipated later this year, it will likely be in limited numbers.
The front profile of the Octavia will showcase new LED Matrix beam headlights paired with a revised grille that appears larger than its predecessor. Expect updated bumpers to lend a sharper aesthetic. Similarly, the rear profile will undergo mild tweaks including updated tail lights.
Overall, the upgraded sedan will use Skoda's newest design language which is similar to the new generation Superb and Kodiaq models. Available in both combi and notchback body styles, the facelifted Octavia may introduce new color options.
While the interior remains under wraps for now, we anticipate a similar layout with minor adjustments such as an updated infotainment display and the latest UI for the virtual cockpit. Moreover, additional features are likely to trickle down from the recently launched Superb and Kodiaq models.
Skoda has confirmed that the facelifted Octavia will be offered in both Sportline and RS variants. It will retain the same diesel, petrol, and hybrid engine options in the international market, with the expectation that India will receive the petrol engine option.
