Simple Energy, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has expanded its product lineup with the introduction of the Simple Dot One, a more affordable iteration based on its flagship model, the Simple One. Positioned as an accessible electric scooter, the Dot One boasts a competitive pricing strategy and a set of features aimed at capturing a broader market segment.

Pricing and Market Positioning

The Simple Dot One is initially launched at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore), catering to customers who had pre-booked the Simple One but seek a more economical alternative. The final launch price, set to be disclosed in January 2024, might carry a premium of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. Bookings are open, with deliveries commencing in Bangalore and later expanding to other cities.
