Renault Triber MPV Officially Teased; Global Unveil on June 19

Renault is all set to unveil its 7-seater car, the Triber MPV, which is going to make its world debut on June 19, 2019, in New Delhi. The teaser image of the car shows its front styling which mimics the styling of Renault models like the Captur and the Kadjar SUV. The upcoming MPV is expected to be priced in the range of INR 5.25-8.25 lakh. The Renault Triber is expected to feature dual-tone interiors and will share some of its interiors with the updated Duster and the Captur. Being a seven-seater, the MPV will get dedicated AC vents for the third row of seats. The third row of seats is expected to be removable to create more space to carry luggage when needed. The car also will also come featured with a large touchscreen with 'Apple Car Play' and 'Android Auto' support. The higher variants will also come with a rear parking camera. There are predictions of curtain airbags also but we are not sure whether they will be a part of the safety equipment on the production-spec model or not. Mechanically, the Triber MPV gets a tweaked version of the 1.0-litre BR10 three-cylinder petrol engine that powers the Kwid. This engine generates around 7HP of more power, taking the total output close to 75HP. The car will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only but Renault will introduce a 5-speed AMT at a later stage. The model will also come with a turbo-petrol engine in the future. Externally, the MPV gets a wide stance with a sculpted clamshell bonnet, a large bumper which gets a section for LED daytime-running lamps, chrome bits, and wide headlamps that merge with the V-shaped grille and the large Renault badge gets the centre-stage. The top model of the car will also get roof rails.
