2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Naked Starts Reaching Dealerships: As we reported earlier, Bajaj Auto is all set to relaunch the Pulsar 180 naked roadster model in the coming days. To jog your memory, the brand discontinued the 180 a few years ago and replaced it with 180F, which is based on the Pulsar 220F. But somehow, Bajaj fans didn't like the 180F much, and to give a boost to the sales of 180cc Pulsar, Bajaj is relaunching the naked version to compete with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 180 and Honda Hornet 2.0.

The 2021 Pulsar naked has already started reaching dealerships across India and as per the details available, the motorcycle will launch with an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.05 lakhs, which makes it INR 9,000 cheaper in comparison to the semi-faired Pulsar 180F. In terms of looks, the 2021 Pulsar 180 naked is based on the top-spec Pulsar 150 twin-disc model while the upcoming motorcycle is expected to come equipped with Pulsar 220F's updated semi-digital instrument console.
Mechanically, the naked version will come equipped with 180F's 178.6cc, SOHC, 4-valve, DTS-i single-cylinder engine that is BS6-compliant and is capable of offering maximum power of 17.02HP @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.52Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension duties continue to be handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear features 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers. The 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Naked continues to feature a disc brake setup at either side mated to a single-channel ABS as standard.
