The new battery features revised cell chemistry, and the larger Performance Battery Plus sees an increase in gross capacity from 93.4kWh to 105kWh. The 800V architecture now allows recuperation of energy at up to 320kW. Charging capabilities have significantly improved, with a 10 to 80 percent charge taking only 18 minutes. The WLTP range figures receive a substantial boost, with a maximum of 678km—an increase of 35 percent.
