Nothing Tech Ltd is a London-based tech company that was founded by Carl Pei. It has just launched its 2nd generation smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). Nothing is offering this smartphone in three storage size variants. The Nothing Phone 2 comes with the specifications and feature list that is standard in new-gen smartphones. It features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits of peak brightness.
The motherboard consists of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The Nothing Phone 2 has a dual camera setup on the rear. It consists of a 50 MP main and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The Nothing Phone 2 comes equipped with a 32 MP front camera for selfies and such.
The Nothing Phone 2 runs on the Nothing operating system based on Android 13. Nothing Phone 2 will come with 3-year OS updates and 4-year of security patches every two months. It comes with unique features such as a glyph interface that lights up in different patterns. The Nothing Phone 2 has 6 separations in the centre and 33 addressable LED zones. Nothing Phone 2 is also equipped with a glyph composer that can be used to create your own custom ringtones.
It has a pillowed glass back that is gently curved and a new slimmer mid-frame built of 100% recycled aluminium. It comes equipped with a 4700 mAh battery with 45W PD charging. The Nothing Phone 2 can be charged to 100% in 55 minutes. It also comes with 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging.
Nothing offers the Phone 2 in two colour options: White and Dark Grey. The base variant has 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and is priced at INR 44,999. The second in line 12GB RAM + 256GB variant is offered at INR 49,999. The 12GB RAM + 512GB storage top variant is offered at INR 54,999.
Phone (2) pre-order pass holders will receive discounts on the ear (1) sticks and accessories. Users will be able to submit their orders through Flipkart from July 11th, 9 PM IST to July 20th, 11:59 PM IST. Pre-order pass holders will also be able to get the all-new Ear (2) Black before everyone else for INR 8,999 beginning July 11th, 9 PM IST.
