Motorola Edge Officially Announced: Motorola has officially announced the much-talked-about Edge smartphone at an online event. The all-new mobile phone gets featured with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Motorola Edge comes with an IP52 rating which makes it water repellant. The smartphone is powered by 2.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G 7nm chipset with Adreno 620 GPU. It comes paired to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 10 operating system. For optics, the Motorola Edge gets a triple rear camera setup. It has 64MP primary rear camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom. It also has a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. At the front, it has a 25MP selfie camera. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes in a pack with a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The smartphone is available in two colour options: Solar Black and Midnight Magenta. It is priced at €699 (INR 57,400 approximately). Moto Edge will go on sale in Italy and other European countries in the coming weeks while in the US, it will be available later this year.

Maestro Edge is a better option when compared to the older Maestro from Hero MotoCorp. It comes with an in house developed 110.9 cc engine producing 8.31 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 8.30 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The scooter comes with Variomatic drive and weighs just 110 kg. The fuel tank is mere 6 liters and the bike returns a certified fuel economy of 65.8 kmpl. It comes with options like phone charging, under seat luggage lamp and LED tail lights. It comes with a price tag of INR 50,700.

Maestro Edge is made up of fiber and its cousin, the Duet gets a metallic body. The use of plastic fiber has reduced the weight of Maestro Edge, thereby increasing its performance over the Duet 110. Hero Maestro Edge would be a better option over Honda Activa 3G as it comes with loads of extra features for the same price as that of the 3rd generation Activa. Maestro Edge comes with a claimed mileage of 65.8 kmpl whereas Activa claims a 60 kmpl mileage only. It gets telescopic front shock absorbers whereas the Activa uses spring loaded type suspension, making it outdated in front of the Maestro Edge. The front wheel of the newcomer is 12 inch in diameter, providing better and stable ride.
