2018 Mahindra XUV500 to be Launched in India on April 18, 2018

As per the latest details available, New Mahindra XUV500 will officially launch in India on April 18, 2018. The SUV was spied testing at multiple occasions in India. After that, spy shots started arriving with full details regarding the updated interior and exterior of the SUV. Mahindra has also started dispatching new XUV500 to its dealers across India. A report regarding engine of new XUV500 claims that 2.2L diesel engine is now tuned to produce 155 HP of maximum power and 360 Nm of massive torque. It will carry both the gearbox options and thus, could bring more shocks to other SUVs for sure. New Mahindra XUV500 supports all new taillight design with extended section into the boot area. Rear light pattern looks pretty impressive in these images while size also feels proportional to the huge rear end of XUV500. When looking at the front, one clearly notices the all new daytime running lights within the headlight. If dealer dispatch process has already started, they won’t take long to launch the new XUV500 officially in India. One major update arrives through the new front grill that almost extends from the bonnet to lowest section of the bumper. This new grill gets 24 chrome highlights within a thick chrome outline. This outline soon ends after the pattern but grill continues to dominate the front section. Fog light section, which is considered nothing less than a style killer in this case, remains oddly placed among other parts. Buyers still have a lot more reasons to call the front and rear design all new for 2018. Interior has gained a lot in this update as buyers will not get soft touch dashboard with perfect stitching and silver inserts. These inserts are perfectly placed on gear knob, handbrake lever, door handles, center console casing and even steering wheel. Interior follows all black theme at the dashboard while seats offer tan shade on the front and top section. The dual tone seats may not be everyone’s choice as they are too loud for an all black interior that is as elegant as XUV500’s inner side. Aluminum finished pedals are a perfectly placed option to make this sporty SUV feel even better than ever.
