New Hero Xtreme Motorcycle is Coming on June 14, 2023

On June 14th, Hero MotoCorp, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in India, will introduce its revised Xtreme 160R USD fork model. The USD front forks are a major upgrade over the conventional telescopic forks on the current Xtreme 160R. USD forks offer better handling and feedback, making the motorcycle more responsive and agile.

The new instrument cluster is also a welcome addition. It is a fully digital unit that offers a host of information, including speed, revs, fuel level, and trip meters. Bluetooth connectivity is another new feature that will be available on the Xtreme 160R USD fork variant. This will allow riders to connect their smartphones to the motorcycle and access features such as turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and call alerts.

In terms of engine, the Xtreme 160R USD fork variant will retain the same 163cc single-cylinder engine. This engine with a 5-speed transmission produces a max power of 15 bhp and 14Nm of peak torque. The Xtreme 160R USD fork variant is expected to be priced at a premium of around Rs 5,000 over the current model. This will make it one of the most expensive 160cc motorcycles in India. However, the additional features and improved performance should make it a good value-for-money proposition.
