Pricing and Variants

The Chery New Little Ant comes in multiple variants with varying prices. The base model is priced at 77,900 yuan, which is approximately Rs 8.92 lakhs, while the top-spec variant is available for 82,900 yuan, roughly Rs 9.49 lakhs.

Exterior Design

  • The New Little Ant showcases a refined exterior design compared to its predecessor, the Classic Little Ant.
  • Notable changes include a cleaner front fascia, new headlamps, distinctive daytime running lights (DRLs), and a closed-off front grille.
  • The front grille features a new Qq logo, enhancing the vehicle's branding.
  • The side panels of the car feature deeper grooves, providing it with a sportier appearance.
  • The rear profile remains largely similar to the Classic Little Ant.

Color Choices

Customers have a wider range of color options to choose from with the New Little Ant, including dark green, light green, purple, peach, agave blue, white, and gray. In comparison, the Classic Little Ant offered five color choices.

  • Key features of the New Little Ant include a power-adjustable driver's seat, wireless charging, leather seat upholstery, heated seats and steering wheel, a large makeup mirror with LED lights, and a PM2.5 air filter.
  • The vehicle boasts advanced technology, such as voice controls and remote functions accessible via a mobile app.
  • Safety features include electronic stability control, hill assist control, a tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, a pedestrian warning system, cruise control, and automatic power-off in the event of a collision.

Performance and Specifications

  • The New Little Ant is available with different powertrain options. The standard powertrain offers 50 PS of maximum power and 95 Nm of peak torque.
  • Customers can choose from three battery options, each with varying compositions:
  • A 25.05 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a range of 251 km.
  • A 28.86 kWh ternary lithium battery and a 29.23 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, both offering a range of 301 km.
  • The high-spec powertrain delivers 76 PS and 150 Nm and is equipped with a 40.3 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering an impressive range of 408 km.
  • All range figures mentioned are based on the CLTC test cycle.
  • Both the Chery New Little Ant and the Classic Little Ant share the same dimensions, with a length of 3,242 mm, a width of 1,670 mm, a height of 1,550 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,150 mm. The ground clearance is 120 mm, and the turning radius is 4.55 meters.
  • Both models are available in a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) format.

In international markets, the New Little Ant will compete with other popular mini EVs such as the Wuling Air EV and DFSK Seres E1. This compact electric car is designed to offer affordability, advanced features, and a range suitable for urban commuting.
