Moto Morini Unveils New V-Twin Models at EICMA

Introduction

At the EICMA event, Moto Morini made an exciting revelation: two new V-Twin engine options for their bikes were added, bringing the roster to include 1,200cc and 750cc V-Twin models, giving motorcycle enthusiasts more alternatives.

Corsaro 750 and Corsaro Sport: V-Twin Middleweights

The Corsaro 750 and Corsaro Sport models are both powered by a robust 750cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. Although precise power figures are not yet disclosed, it's clear that these bikes embody the classic V-Twin character. In a market where many motorcycles are adopting parallel-twin engines with 270-degree crankshafts, the Corsaro models stand out for sticking with true blue V-Twin power.

The Corsaro 750 is a striking naked streetfighter with an aggressive design. It boasts premium components like Brembo Stylema calipers, a hydraulic clutch, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tires, Meanwhile, the fully-faired Corsaro Sport offers a clean and well-executed Italian design, with similar high-quality components found on both versions.

Milano and X-Cape 1200: Flagship 1,200cc Models

The Milano and X-Cape 1200 represent Moto Morini's flagship models, both equipped with a liquid-cooled 1,187cc, 87-degree V-Twin engine. While specific power figures remain undisclosed, this engine has a legacy, having previously powered the now-discontinued Granpasso 1200 adventure bike, where it delivered 118hp and 104Nm of torque.

The Milano is a neo-retro masterpiece with an elegant design reminiscent of the 650cc Seiemmezzos. Notable design elements include header pipes reminiscent of the Ducati Monster 1200 and a distinctive twin-can exhaust muffler. The Milano also offers four riding modes and a TFT dashboard for a modern touch.

On the other hand, the X-Cape 1200 is an adventure bike with features like cruise control and various electronic rider aids. It rides on Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tires and features a split radiator setup, emphasizing its capabilities for long journeys.

Availability in India and Conclusion

Moto Morini currently sells their entire 650cc lineup in India. However, it remains uncertain whether these new V-Twin models will make their way to the Indian market. Enthusiasts and potential buyers in India will have to wait for further announcements to see if these exciting new additions will be available on their shores.
