Spy shots indicate changes in dimensions, with the facelift likely to be 229 mm longer, 90 mm wider, and 9 mm taller than the current model. While the specifics of the facelifted Gloster's interior updates remain undisclosed, it can be expected that MG Motor will focus on elevating the overall luxury and comfort elements.  As MG Motor fine-tunes the Gloster to potentially cater to a market that appreciates a more muscular aesthetic, it will be interesting to see how these changes impact the SUV's positioning and consumer reception. While the Fortuner continues to maintain its lion's share, MG Motor's adjustment in design philosophy signals a determined effort to carve a distinct niche in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.

One of the most striking alterations is observed in the all-new front fascia, which exudes a more prominent and sporty character compared to the outgoing model. The massive grille takes centre stage, housing two vertical LED elements that, on top-spec trims, are enveloped in distinctive orange accents. Accompanying this are sleek horizontal LED daytime running lights (DRLs) with a central LED component, adding a touch of modernity.
Below the DRLs, a three-pod vertically-arranged LED headlight enhances the overall attractiveness of the front profile. The redesigned bonnet bears a large Maxus logo, expected to be replaced with Gloster badging for the Indian market, while the MG logo finds its place on the grille.
Despite the camouflage during testing, the familiar 19-inch wheels from the current model remain unchanged.
As testing continues in India, the anticipation grows for the official unveiling of this revamped mid-size SUV.

On the inside, new LDV 90 sports a redesigned dashboard, infotainment screen and centre console, while retaining instrument screen and steering wheel. Central AC vents are now massive and the infotainment screen doesn’t look like it is lifted off a BMW. Centre console gets major redesign where gear selector is re-positioned behind steering wheel. There are two new rotary dials for drive modes and 4X4 mode selector. Powertrain-wise, we don’t expect any changes. The same 2.2L diesel engine with single-turbo and twin-turbo options will probably continue duties. Same goes for the 8-speed torque converter gearbox too. The same design differences that were seen on Maxus D90 or LDV 90 are highly likely to make it on India-spec MG Gloster. With larger dimensions, it should even make a Fortuner look small.
