Power and Performance

The MG Comet EV is powered by a rear axle-mounted single motor setup that draws power from a 17.3kWh battery pack. The Comet EV can produce 41 horsepower and 110 Nm of peak torque with this setup. Additionally, the EV now offers two charging methods, including a 7.4kW AC fast charger that can rapidly charge the vehicle from 10 to 80 percent in just 2.5 hours. These enhancements make the MG Comet EV a practical and user-friendly electric vehicle option in the market.

Range and Charging

An attractive option for daily commutes and urban travel, the MG Comet EV is said to have a range of 230 km on a full charge. In a real-world range test, however, the model proved its usefulness and efficiency by traveling 191 kilometers on a single charge. A 7.4kW AC fast charger is one of the better charging choices that the EV currently offers to further boost consumer comfort.

Customers searching for an economical and environmentally friendly form of transportation continue to find it appealing due to its reasonable price, respectable range, and quick charging capabilities. The uniform price increment of Rs. 10,000 across most variants is a modest increase considering the overall value proposition offered by the Comet EV.
