Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d Launched in India at INR 80.38 Lakh

Mercedes Benz India finally brings in the facelift for GL-Class and launches the new GLS at an attractive price tag of INR 80.38 Lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The car comes in a single 350d variant only. Being locally assembled, the GLS would serve as the flagship SUV and perfect ride for those with a big family. The car is powered by a 3.0 L, V6 diesel motor producing 258 HP @ 3400 rpm and 620 Nm of torque between 1600-2400 rpm. The new 9G-Tronic gearbox makes it more efficient than ever, claiming a 0-100 kmph sprint time of just 7.8 seconds. The option of 4WD makes it more practical for all kinds of terrain while the airmatic suspension keeps it intact till its 222 kmph of top speed. The dynamic select with 5 driving modes makes it the most versatile product at its size. Panoramic sunroof, 8 inch COMAND infotainment system, full LED headlights and 360 degree camera are some of the other noticeable features of the GLS. The most important rival for  the car is the new 2016 Audi Q7 while BMW X5 and Volvo XC90 also competes in the same section.
