Mercedes-AMG has unwrapped the dynamic CLE 53 Coupe, positioned as a successor to the phased-out E 53 Coupe. Anchored on the recently introduced CLE-Class lineup, this thrilling two-door variant promises amplified power, a sportier exterior aesthetic, and an enhanced interior compared to its predecessor.

1. Potent Powertrain
- Driven by AMG's twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine, the CLE 53 Coupe features an integrated starter-generator (ISG), transforming it into a mild hybrid. The power plant delivers 448hp and 560Nm, complemented by the ISG's temporary boosts of 23hp and 204Nm during acceleration.
- Accelerates from 0 to 100kph in a swift 4.2 seconds, outperforming the outgoing E53 Coupe by 0.2 seconds.
- Top speed is capped at 250kph but can be extended to 270kph with the optional Driver's Package.
- Power is efficiently transmitted to all wheels through a 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.

- The CLE 53 benefits from a revised suspension system, adopting AMG's Ride Control suspension featuring continuously variable twin-valve dampers.
