Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Variants Spotted Ahead of Launch

The Mahindra XUV300 facelift has been spotted testing again, showcasing three different variants of the upcoming 2024 model. Positioned in a competitive segment with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza, Mahindra is set to update its sub-compact SUV to stay competitive. Interior improvements to elevate the XUV300's overall cabin experience are anticipated in this upcoming update.

Here's a summary of what we've observed from the spy shots of the XUV300's various variants:

Base Variant

The base model of the facelifted XUV300 has been spotted alongside the mid and top variants. It appears that Mahindra has opted not to offer body-colored ORVMs for this variant, and the steel wheels are equipped with basic conventional covers. While the base variant is likely to retain most features of the current XUV300's base model, some minor tweaks could be introduced.

Mid Variant

The mid-level trims of the facelifted XUV300 will feature body-colored ORVMs, unlike the base variant. However, they will not have alloy wheels and will instead come with stylized steel wheels designed to mimic the appearance of alloys from a distance, a new design element not found in the current model.

Top Variant

The top-spec variant of the upcoming XUV300 is seen with rear disc brakes and dual-tone alloy wheels, enhancing the compact SUV's aesthetic. Roof rails have been added as an additional feature over the mid-trim.

Interior Updates

A notable interior highlight is the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from the XUV400 EV. The facelifted XUV300 is also likely to feature the XUV400 EV’s 10.25-inch digital driver display and other new features.

With these added features and upgrades, the Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to see a price increase over the current model, which starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). To compete with competing vehicles such as the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Tata Nexon, the revised XUV300 aims to attract customers. The competition will also be heightened by Skoda's debut into the sub-compact SUV market the following year.
