The Scorpio SUV is super popular with lots of people wanting to buy it! Every month, around 16,000 people book a new Scorpio. Mahindra just shared its booking numbers for February 2024. The Scorpio, which comes in two versions – the Scorpio N and the Classic – is the hottest seller in their lineup.
In February 2024, Mahindra disclosed its booking figures, revealing the Scorpio's strong position in the market. There are two variations of the Scorpio nameplate: the Scorpio N and the Classic. These variants consistently drive sales for the brand maintaining the highest number of open bookings this month.
Presently, Mahindra's total open bookings for all its SUVs stand at an impressive 2,25,800. Remarkably, over 1,01,000 of these bookings are specifically for the Scorpio. More than 16,000 new reservations for these SUVs are also made by the company each month a sign of its ongoing appeal and demand.
Mahindra offers the Scorpio N in a variety of trims, including the Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L, with prices starting at Rs. 13.60 lakh. On the other hand, the Scorpio Classic comes in two variants, available in seven and nine-seater configurations, and begins at Rs. 13.59 lakh (excluding taxes and other charges).
In addition, an interesting pattern about the inclination toward the diesel Scorpio models as opposed to the gasoline ones is revealed. In January 2024 alone, Mahindra managed to sell a total of 14,293 Scorpios. Surprisingly, a substantial majority of these sales, amounting to 13,528 units, were diesel variants, while only 765 units were petrol.
