Mahindra Roxor RoxBox Concept Officially Unveiled

Mahindra Roxor RoxBox Concept took the practicality level of the compact off-road vehicle to the next level. The launch of Roxor in a limited number of markets confirmed the first Mahindra venture into the recreational driving segment and now, they are seen considering this impressive concept for people who need a compact machine that can double up as a mini truck for occasional jobs. The rivals offer similar products that are fun to drive in most conditions but Roxor RoxBox confirms that it can offer the benefits of a weekday workhorse and weekend fun machine in a single yet affordable package. The steel cage on the Roxor RoxBox is foldable while front and rear bumpers available on the same are made of steel too. The front resembles the face of a Thar, modified enough to carve out a unique presence for the Roxor. The wide fenders are well shaped while the roof features an LED flood light bar for night use in the rough terrain. The side view shows negligible doors, flat rear bed section that comes with a practical cage-like boundary. Not just that, the door can be opened to have access to the tool section that neatly stays hidden in the deck area. The interior features standard seats with dual tone finish and comfort-enhancing basic features are missing from the package like most of the rivals. For those who still wonder what they can have with the Roxor, the vehicle features a steering wheel, pedals, gear lever and seats. The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine on the Mahindra Roxor RoxBox Concept is good for 62 HP of maximum power and 195 Nm of torque. The size of the vehicle helps this engine bring a decent fuel economy figure along with enough power to tackle any terrain that comes into the weekend getaway route. As of now, Mahindra has no plans to launch the Roxor recreational vehicle in India.
