As the automotive landscape in India continues to evolve Mahindra a key player and the largest SUV manufacturer in the country is gearing up for an exciting year in 2024, and Mahindra is poised to make substantial progress in the market with the launch of six new SUVs. 5. Mahindra XUV400 EV
The year 2024 will witness the introduction of the Mahindra XUV400 facelift, as observed during testing. This model, undergoing a series of feature updates, is set to redefine its visual identity with a copper inlay in the front grille, a flat bonnet, XUV700-inspired headlamps, 5-spoke alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps. Inside the cabin, expect feature upgrades such as a larger 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, and the possibility of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Safety is paramount with a comprehensive suite of features including six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS, EBD, and ADAS. Under the hood, the XUV.e8 packs an 80 kWh battery, offering two outputs of 230 hp and 350 hp, with a WLTP-claimed range of up to 450 km. Both single and multiple motor variants are compatible with the unit, and both RWD and AWD versions are supported by the platform.
