Live Photos of New Harley-Davidson X500 Cruiser Motorcycle

A few years ago, Harley-Davidson teamed up with the largest manufacturer in China, QJ Motor. They came together to create inexpensive products for the international market. The outcome of this partnership of two giants is the X500. This Harley-Davidson X500 cruiser motorcycle was recently displayed at the Auto Shanghai 2023.

For those unaware, the Benelli Leoncino 500 and the Harley-Davidson X500 share the same platform. Because of this, the X500 has the same tubular frame and 500cc liquid-cooled engine. The Harley-Davidson X500's motor is coupled to a six-speed gearbox and has an output rating of 47 bhp and 46 Nm, like the Leoncino.

The brakes are handled by a dual disc arrangement for the front and a rear disc with ABS. The hardware consists of USD forks up front and a mono-shock at the back. The list of features is the next, and it isn't much different from Benelli's list either. Full-LED headlamps and a semi-digital instrument cluster are included. The instrument cluster comes with basic gauges for the trip metre, odometer, fuel level and gear selection.

The Harley-Davidson X500 will no longer be sold in India since the US firm has partnered with Hero Motocorp to create a new motorcycle. By the end of this year, we can expect that product to be released.

I am 6 feet tall, which one should I buy – Harley-Davidson Street 750 or KTM RC 390?
2022-12-29 06:06:39 AM
Both the bikes are excellent performers and define an affordable way of maintaining performance as well as the brand name. KTM RC390 is the most value for money performance bike of India as no other machine at just INR 2,14,000 would bring a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 5.7 seconds. It comes with a single cylinder 373.2 cc engine while on the other hand, no other Harley Davidson or similar capacity bike can be bought for INR 4,69,000. The 750 cc, twin cylinder motor produces 59 Nm of torque and sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 6.15 seconds. The 229 kg cruiser versus the 166 kg supersport machine is a tough decision but the only factor that can help you in choosing one is your budget and preferred riding style. I would suggest you to keep your Classic Chrome with you and then buy the RC390 as it would bring both the cruiser and supersport team to your garage.
Is Harley-Davidson Street 500 available in White shade?
2022-12-29 06:05:24 AM
Harley Davidson 500 is available only in shades like Blue, Red, Black and Grey. It is not available in White shade and even it is not on sale in India currently. The motorcycle rides on the same chassis and wheels as the Street 750 and uses a smaller engine for various markets around the world. It still weighs 200+ kg and carries a 3.5 gallon fuel tank. It looks identical to the 750 cc Harley and won't be launched in India soon. It returns a combined mileage figure of 64.4 mpg.
