Lexus LS 500h has been launched in India for INR 1.77 Crore. This price is for Luxury variant while Ultra Luxury and Distinct variant costs INR 1.82 Crore and INR 1.94 Crore respectively.
This makes LS 500h the fourth product for India, all of them being hybrids and carrying one or more electric motors for added power and lesser consumption. The all new LS 500h is more elegant than the model it replaces internationally.

Lexus has made LS 500h in such a way that it offers perfect balance of man-machine relation. The car comes with couple like rear section. Lexus designers had started the process from scratch as fitting this new LS design on the existing chassis would not have justified the extreme detailing of the car.
Buyers get a 3.5L V6 engine with two electric motors on the LS 500h. The total resultant is 359 PS at 6600 rpm and 350 Nm at 5100 rpm. The engine comes mated to an E-CVT and delivers power to all four wheels through E Four electric all wheel drive system.
In standard conditions, power remains exclusive to rear wheels. Lexus LS 500h rivals Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8 and BMW 7-Series in India.
