KTM India Not Coming @ Auto Expo 2018

KTM Not Coming at Auto Expo 2018: KTM India is skipping the Auto Expo 2018 and nothing could get worse than this for fans of the Austrian manufacturer. It definitely feels bad as most people were waiting for those six days to see KTM 790 Duke before their eyes for the first time. KTM counts under the Bajaj Auto family and both brands have decided to skip the show this year. KTM is always seen at EICMA and most of their new products are introduced at that show itself. It seems that they still have no concrete plans for expansion of Indian lineup and that makes them good for an absent from Auto Expo 2018. It is powered by a 799cc, twin cylinder engine producing 105 HP at 9000 rpm and 86 Nm at 8000 rpm. The expected price of INR 6 lakh will send goosebumps into the territory owned by Kawasaki till date. It weighs just 189 kg, further undercutting rivals by almost 15 kg and resulting in impressive power to weight ratio. Fans were also expecting the quarter liter RC 250 at Auto Expo 2018 but this news ends all the plans at once. KTM India’s most powerful motorcycle at present is 390 Duke. The street fighter is powered by a 373.2cc, single cylinder engine producing 43.5 HP of power and 37 Nm of torque. This makes it better than any other bike priced around INR 2.25 lakh. Class leading features like TFT console, LED lights and ABS are offered as standard on the motorcycle. KTM India range starts from INR 1.49 lakh .
