Kawasaki Ninja 400 Sales Down to 0 Units in November 2018

Kawasaki Ninja 400 is facing tough times against competitive placement of bikes like Yamaha R3 and even the cousin Ninja 300. The motorcycle registered zero units in November 2018, with Ninja 300 posting 118 units in the sales chart. The difference in pricing is one big factor, with both bikes getting a difference of INR 1.71 lakh. The gap is enough to put another relaxed riding machine into consideration. In comparison to Yamaha R3, the gap is still huge at INR 1.20 lakh. Kawasaki is expected to shift Ninja 400 into the highly localized model list in the coming months. At present, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 is priced at INR 4.69 lakh while Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3 are priced at INR 2.98 lakh and INR 3.49 lakh respectively. All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom India. The overall output is really fascinating as Yamaha R3 has 42 PS of maximum power. Basic design lines of all Ninja bikes remain similar, leaving hundreds of buyers stuck with Ninja 300. If launched through the highly critical local production route, Ninja 400 could serve as a benchmark for performance twin-cylinder bikes of India. Some of the interesting features for Ninja 400 includes 150-section rear tire, wet weight of just 173 kg, 14-liter fuel tank, and 41mm telescopic forks. The Aprilia RS 660 is a great choice for anyone looking for a mid-range sports bike. It offers a powerful engine and great handling which makes it a great choice for those who want to take their riding to the next level. The Kawasaki Ninja 400, on the other hand, is a great choice for those just starting out in the sport. It offers more agility and control than the RS 660, and it is also more affordable.
