Honda's new Elevate SUV will be an important addition to its lineup that currently only includes the Amaze and City sedans. It will mark Honda's entry into the highly competitive SUV segment dominated by models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others.

Honda's upcoming SUV, the Elevate, is now available for booking. It will be available in four variants with different features and amenities. Deliveries will begin in September 2023. The Honda Elevate is a 4,312mm long, 1,790mm wide, and 1,650mm tall SUV with a 2,650mm wheelbase and 220mm ground clearance. Ahead of the official launch in India, the variant-wise feature list has leaked online.

The SV is the entry-level model and includes LED headlights, taillights, R16 alloys, and beige fabric upholstery. It has a 60:40 split back seat, an engine push button start, and Honda smart entry system. Honda has equipped it with auto air conditioning, and dual front airbags.

The V variant adds a floating touchscreen display, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Honda Connect, a rear-view camera, and steering-mounted audio controls.

The VX variant adds roof rails, fog lamps, R17 alloy wheels, a sunroof, a TFT meter cluster, a wireless smartphone charger, a lane watch camera, auto-folding door mirrors, and 6 speakers.

The ZX variant adds chrome door handles, auto-dimming IRVMs, Honda Sensing ADAS technology, side airbags, side curtain airbags, a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display, 8 speakers, brown leatherette upholstery, and soft-touch pads on the dashboard and door trims.

The Honda Elevate will be powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol engine as the 5th Gen Honda City. This engine produces a max power of 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of peak torque. It will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission system. The automatic transmission will only be available in the V, VX, and ZX trims. The Honda Elevate will not be available with a diesel or hybrid powertrain at launch.
