Hero XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T Spotted in a New Set of Photos

Hero XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T were recently spotted with production-ready equipment in Turkey. The missing number plates confirm that the motorcycles were ready for a commercial shoot. The T moniker stands for touring, with these images further clearing the difference between both the variants. The XPulse 200 is seen here in gloss white shade while XPulse 200T is available with plain black shade in the images. Hero MotoCorp will definitely bring more shades for both the models as multiple occasions showed them in different shades in India. Both the variants share the same frame and basic design language. The rear grab rail features bag holding capability on both the models. XPulse 200 comes with spoke wheels, off-road specific tires and high mounted exhaust that will stay safe during off-road riding. Apart from the difference in rubber, these two have different levels of suspension travel for better differentiation. The front round headlight and rear flat LED tail light also stay similar between both the bikes. The all-digital console is expected to offer class-leading connectivity options for ease of use during long distance travels. A close look will also reveal the engine protector that stays exclusive to the off-road variant. All these parts may be available as an accessory with the xPulse 200T but stock fitted exhaust and tires offer better practicality than spending more on the visual enhancement of the motorcycle. Hero MotoCorp is expected to use a powerful 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine with different state of tune in comparison to the Xtreme 200R. The front brake ABS stays standard on all variants while price could start from INR 1 lakh. Hero XPulse series is expected to launch in India in April 2019. Is the Hero XPulse 200T worth buying?
2023-09-19 07:23:10 AM

The Hero XPulse 200T was never really a hot seller. The company has taken its own sweet time to provide the bike with the BS6 updates, which have arrived at a pretty steep premium. If you are looking for a city bike in the 200cc space with no intention of heading to the nearby twisties or trails over the weekend, the XPulse 200T makes sense. The XPulse 200T has got the mandatory emission updates. Hence, you find a fuel-injection system fueling the 199.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The oil cooler is a welcome addition but not as much to justify the extra price.

Which bike is smoother between Hero Xpulse200 & Xpulse 200T?

The Hero Xpulse 200 is the off-road capable version of the two. To cement its mud-plugging credentials, the XPulse 200 gets a raised beak, knuckle guards, and a small windscreen. Whereas, the XPulse 200T is a touring motorcycle and it features a wide handlebar, comfortable ribbed seat, and conventional exhaust system. Hopefully, the XPulse 200T will be more peppy and smooth now, much like how the XPulse 200 BS6 turned out. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you take a test ride.
