The largest two-wheeler maker in India has announced a long-term partnership with Gogoro, a Taiwan-based company that develops a battery swapping platform and provides electric mobility solution based operations. The partnership is expected to extend overseas, where Gogoro has a vast presence.

Head of Hero MotoCorp Global Business, Sanjay Bhan said in an interview that “There is a great appreciation for EV products, especially in the mature economies and we are aiming to be present in a lot of these markets. Undoubtedly EVs provide us access to several new geographies as it opens up new customer and mobility segments.”
