2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S Launched @ INR 14.69 Lakh

The 2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S premium performance cruiser has been recently launched by the brand at a price tag of INR 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The customers can avail the motorcycle in two colour schemes namely Vivid Black and Barracuda Silver while the brand has only disclosed the pricing of the former colour variant as of today. Powering the cruiser is a 1745cc, Milwaukee-Eight 114, air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 87HP @ 5,020 rpm and a peak torque of 145Nm @ 3,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and is BS6-compliant. The brand has offered the Harley-Davidson Low Rider S with an overall dark theme that distinguishes it from the Low Rider standard variant. The engine casing on the premium cruiser in addition to the exhaust system has been offered an all-black theme adding to the muscular profile while further adding to the sportiness is the motocross-style handlebar unit. The kerb weight of the cruiser stands at 300kgs which makes it quite heavy when compared to other cruisers in its segment, though the powerful engine is capable of offering a thrilling ride. The motorcycle features 43mm USD forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with a monoshock unit. The custom and meaner profile of the motorcycle is enhanced with a single-piece saddle. The cruiser has been equipped with aluminium wheels at either side finished in a matte bronze colour scheme. The round headlight surrounded by body-coloured housing as well as the visor adds to its visual appeal. The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S features a reduced rake angle of 28 degrees which makes the rider to handle the motorcycle in a much better way while riding as well as cornering. At present, the Low Rider S competes in the market against the likes of Indian Scout Bobber.
