The popularity of electric vehicles (EVs) among consumers purchasing new two-wheelers has increased recently. While various types of EVs, ranging from scooters to street naked, have emerged in the market, one segment that remained relatively untouched was cruisers. Introducing the MX Moto M16
Introducing India's second electric cruiser motorcycle, the MX Moto M16, following the Komaki Ranger. Setting itself apart with innovative features, the M16 boasts a split frame design where the battery serves as a stressed member of the bike. Sporting a 3.96 kWh capacity battery, it claims an impressive range of 160-220km on a single charge, with a swift charging time of just 3 hours from 0 to 90 percent. Powering the M16 is a robust 4000W BLDC hub-mounted motor, generating a formidable 140Nm of torque, complemented by regenerative braking facilitated by the 80A controller.
Performance and Handling
In terms of suspension, the M16 features an inverted fork at the front and adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. Braking prowess is provided by dual 320mm front disc brakes and a 240mm disc brake at the rear, offering optimal control and safety. Rolling on 17-inch wheels fitted with 110-section front tires and 140-section rear tires, the M16 delivers stability and traction on various road surfaces.

Equipped with a suite of advanced features, the MX Moto M16 boasts a fully digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity and navigation capabilities via the MXMOTO app. The total riding experience is improved by its convenience features which also include park assist, anti-skid/hill assist, cruise control, and reverse assist. The electric cruiser is further enhanced with a dynamic LED headlight, LED turn indicators, and taillight ensuring visibility and style on the road.
