The new scooter is built with a robust suspension system that includes a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Its front disc brake and rear drum brake braking system suggest that stopping power efficiency is a priority. Along with these advantages, the design includes a single-piece grab rail, a hub motor, and a curved seat that comfortably accommodates two persons. The scooter's functionality is further enhanced by additional useful features including plenty of floorboard room and pillion footrests that are reminiscent of the Ather 450X.

Expected Performance and Specifications

Given that the only other scooter in Kinetic Green’s lineup that surpasses a top speed of 25kmph is the Kinetic Green Flex, with a top speed of 72kmph, it’s plausible that this new model will share the same platform. This includes likely similarities in the rear drum brake setup and other underpinnings. Prospective buyers can anticipate the same 3kWh battery capacity, promising a range of 120km and a full recharge time of approximately 5 hours.

Positioning in the Market

This upcoming model seems poised to complement the Flex, offering another premium option within Kinetic Green’s electric portfolio. While the Flex sports a retro aesthetic this new scooter is expected to feature a more contemporary design, broadening its appeal.

Pricing and Launch Expectations

With features similar to the Kinetic Green Flex, the upcoming scooter may also be priced around Rs 1,09,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra, including the EMPS 2024 subsidy). The launch is anticipated within the next few months, adding an exciting prospect to the burgeoning electric vehicle market.

As Kinetic Green Energy continues to innovate and grow this new addition demonstrates their commitment to diversifying and enhancing their electric vehicle products to meet a variety of consumer preferences and demands.
