The newly facelifted Porsche Cayenne GTS showcases a more menacing appearance than its predecessors. Its sportier edge is emphasized by the revised grille with larger air intakes and dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlamps on the front end. The side profile is distinguished by 21-inch grey wheels set against striking red brake calipers, with the vehicle sitting 10mm lower than previous iterations for a bolder stance. At the rear, the model boasts bronze-colored tailpipes—a change from the prior black ones—and dark-tinted LED tail lights, enhancing its aggressive aesthetic.

Lightweight Design Packages

Porsche introduces three lightweight design packages with the Cayenne GTS that incorporate a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a lighter roof, and reduced insulation. These modifications collectively shave off up to 25kg optimizing the SUV’s performance and agility.

Engine Performance

The heart of the Cayenne GTS is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, now boosted to deliver 507 PS and 659 Nm of torque, up from the previous 460 PS and 620 Nm. This power is managed through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission paired with an all-wheel drive system enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.4 seconds.

Advanced Chassis and Suspension

The Cayenne GTS is equipped with cutting-edge chassis technology including Porsche Active Suspension Management and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, enhancing its handling and stability. Additional systems like Porsche Traction Management and optional Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control further refine its driving dynamics ensuring superior road performance and tight handling.

Interior Refinements

Inside, the Cayenne GTS features the Porsche Driver Experience system with a standard curved digital driver’s display and an optional passenger-side infotainment display. The interior is adorned with red contrasting stitching and GTS badging on the headrests set against an all-black theme that mirrors the exterior’s sporty flair. Enhancements include a premium Bose sound system and ambient lighting adding to the luxurious feel of the cabin.

Anticipated Launch and Pricing in India

Should the Cayenne GTS and its Coupe variant reach Indian shores, they are expected to be priced at around Rs 2.5 crore. In comparison, the standard Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe are currently available for Rs 1.35 crore and Rs 1.41 crore, respectively. The Cayenne GTS will compete against other high-performance SUVs such as the Audi RS Q8, Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53, and BMW X5 M Competition which makes it a noteworthy contender in the luxury SUV market.
