The engine will remain mated to a 5-speed transmission. In terms of looks, the fuel tank is almost similar in design to the current-gen model, with flat Royal Enfield stickers. The biggest change here is visible on the engine, with an all-new design and compact placement of the components, which have been further borrowed from the Meteor 350. The next-gen model of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 features a different rear seat design, a practical grab rail, and a new tail-light setup. The model is equipped with a new frame instead of the current-gen model’s single downtube unit. This change could drastically reduce vibrations. As far as the pricing is concerned, the motorcycle is expected to launch with an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.80 lakhs for the base model. The MY2021 is rumoured to be available in a total of 6 shades. Once launched, the new-gen Classic 350 would be competing with the likes of Jawa Classic 300, Mahindra Mojo 300, Honda Highness CB350, Benelli Imperiale 400, and the Bajaj Dominar 400.
