Upgraded Cabin and Features

The C3X speculated to be a blend of the C3 Aircross's front design and a sleek, sloping rear roofline, is expected to draw inspiration from the existing C4X crossover. The upgraded cabin, set to debut with the C3 Aircross in July, will be a significant highlight of the C3X.

Features anticipated include:

  • Climate control
  • LED headlamps and taillamps
  • Keyless entry with button start
  • Leatherette upholstery
  • Cooled glove box
  • Armrest for driver and second-row passengers
  • Six airbags across the range
  • 360-degree camera package

Powertrain Options

Under the hood, the C3X is expected to be powered by Citroen's 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 109bhp and 190Nm of torque when paired with the six-speed manual transmission and 109bhp and 205Nm of torque when mated to the six-speed torque converter automatic.

Rivals and Launch Expectations

Upon its launch, the C3X is set to compete with the Tata Curvv petrol, another anticipated launch in the mid-size SUV segment. The C3X's entry into the market is expected to be around the middle of this year adding a new dimension to Citroen's offerings in India and marking its foray into the increasingly popular coupe SUV segment.

Citroen's new model, the C3X is expected to have a big impact on the Indian automobile market.
