Bye Bye Maruti Suzuki S-Cross; Removed From The Official Website

Since its introduction in the Indian market in 2015, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross has been the brand's flagship offering. The S-Cross has been discontinued due to the introduction of the new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Now, the latter serves as the company's flagship product.

The country's largest automaker has removed the S-Cross from its website in a new development. The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross has vanished from the company's Nexa chain lineup, and the company is keeping mum about it. The S-Cross had been due for a major facelift, which it has now received in a few international markets.

Given that the S-Cross failed to entice Indian buyers and was a consistent underperformer. Maruti Suzuki may be reluctant to bring the updated 2023 model to our shores. The new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is the company's new take on the mid-size SUV space, and it competes with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the Indian market.

Maruti offers the new Vitara in a new design avatar and with a long list of features. There are two engine options: a 1.5-litre K-Series NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid engine. Both configurations are popular in the market, the former also has an AWD layout.

It is also met with a warm reception from the audience. The Grand Vitara received over 50,000 pre-orders even before it was released. Maruti sold approximately 4770 units of the car last month and it has a wait time of more than 28 weeks. The brand has yet to issue an official statement on the discontinuation of the S-Cross.

The Maruti Grand Vitara receives a slew of class-exclusive features. These features include a 360-degree parking camera, ambient lighting, and a heads-up display. Prices start at Rs 10.45 lakh and rise to Rs 19.65 lakh ex-showroom.
