BYD Seal Now Available at Indian Dealerships

The BYD Seal, a modern all-electric sedan from the Chinese automaker BYD, has recently been introduced in India. This mid-size sedan comes in three different variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Performance, with prices starting from Rs. 41 lakh (ex-showroom). Following its launch, the Seal has begun appearing in dealerships across the country.

The BYD Seal stands out in the Indian market with its unique exterior design. It features sleek LED headlamps, a long bonnet, and arrow-shaped wave-patterned LED daytime running lights. Additionally, there are arrow-shaped inserts on the front fenders, a sloping roofline with a glass roof, up to 19-inch aero-designed alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps that enhance its modern and stylish look.

Inside, the BYD Seal is packed with advanced features. It comes equipped with a rotatable 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated and heated front seats, power-adjustable driver and co-driver seats, dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display (HUD), a twin wireless charger, a 360-degree camera, a 12-speaker sound system, and a Level 2 ADAS suite for added safety and convenience.

Battery and Range

The BYD Seal offers two battery pack options: a 61.44kWh unit and an 82.56kWh unit. Depending on the chosen variant, the sedan can deliver a claimed driving range of 510km, 580km, or up to 650km on a single charge, making it suitable for both city commutes and long-distance travel.

Bookings and Deliveries

Following its launch, the BYD Seal has received a positive response in the Indian market, with over 200 bookings recorded. Deliveries of the electric sedan are expected to commence in the coming weeks marking BYD's further expansion into the Indian electric vehicle market.
