Currently, the most affordable BYD vehicle in India is the E6 MPV, starting from approximately Rs. 29 lakhs, while the Atto 3 eSUV is priced at around Rs. 34 lakhs. With India exhibiting steady growth in the automotive sector, BYD is eager to capitalize on the opportunities it presents.

Expansion of BYD's Ocean Lineup

BYD's Ocean lineup is set to expand further by introducing new models such as Seagull and Seal, alongside Dolphin. Positioned below the Atto 3, Dolphin will compete with electric vehicles like the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, Citroen eC3 Aircross, and others in the Indian market.

In Malaysia, the BYD Dolphin is imported tax-free from China, with prices starting from RM 99,990, equivalent to approximately Rs. 17.4 lakhs in India. However, with import duties, the expected prices may start in the region of Rs. 25 lakhs.
