Entry-Level BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launched @ INR 1.57 Lakh

Royal Enfield has officially launched the entry-level S model of the BS6 Classic 350 with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.57 lakh. The BS4 model of the bike was available in 2 colour options: Pure Black and Mercury Silver. In addition to these two colours, the BS6 model has got three new colour options: Ash, Chestnut, and Redditch Red. All five paint schemes of the bike are priced the same. The brand has equipped the Classic 350 S with an extra catalytic converter that is easily visible in the official images. There is also an additional oxygen sensor. In terms of styling, the BS6 variant of the motorcycle features the same looks when compared to its BS4 counterpart. It has the same 2D graphics along with the blacked-out body panels. The exhaust system on the bike also remains the same. Mechanically, the Classic 350 S comes powered with a BS6-compliant 346cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 19.1HP of maximum power at 5250 rpm along with 28Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The outgoing BS4 model is good for 19.8HP, so there is a slight drop in the power figure of the bike. The braking duties of the BS6 Classic 350 S are handled by a disc brake at the front while the rear of the bike comes equipped with a drum brake setup. The motorcycle gets single-channel ABS as standard. The bookings for the BS6-compliant model have already begun while the motorcycles have started reaching the dealerships. In addition to this, the deliveries for the bike are expected to commence in the coming weeks. Earlier this year, Royal Enfield also launched the BS6 model of the dual-channel Classic 350 at a price tag of INR 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

Yes, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a comfortable cruiser and also, and the seat itself is also shaped differently: it’s not sprung and the foam is firmer. This makes the riding position actually a lot more comfortable now. Pillions will appreciate the comfortable and spacious rear seat too, which comes as standard. It’s soft enough, but not so soft that you sink into it and your backside starts complaining.
