BMW S1000R
BMW S1000 XR can be bought for INR 18.50 lakh for the Standard variant while the Pro costs INR 21.50 lakh. It uses the same engine and produces exactly the same power as BMW S1000 R. The additional fairing on the body makes it heavier at 228 kg while the purpose it solves also employs a bigger 20 liter fuel tank. The seat height provided here is 840 mm while most other components remain the same as the naked version. It looks bigger and offers more practicality than the naked roadster version. Apart from these two, BMW also flagship sport machine S1000RR into the Indian market.
BMW S1000XR
S1000 RR is powered by the same 999 cc, 4-cylinder engine but produces 199 BHP at 13500 rpm and 113 Nm at 10,500 rpm. The power from the liter class engine is fully utilized in its case as the power production is seen at around 2500 rpm higher than the other two models. BMW offers the S1000 RR in Standard (INR 18.90 lakh) and Pro (INR 21.40 lakh). The engine makes it good for 303 kmph of top speed while the motorcycle's aerodynamic design and 204 kg of lightweight body helps it reach 100 kmph in just 3.06 seconds.
