BMW India has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the all-new BMW iX xDrive50. This latest addition is now available for purchase across all BMW dealerships in India, coming in as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit.

The BMW iX xDrive50 boasts impressive performance statistics, with the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 4.6 seconds. It delivers a powerful output of 523 hp and a peak torque of 765 Nm.

Battery and Range

Featuring two high-voltage batteries integrated into the vehicle's floor, the combined capacity stands at 111.5 kWh. This setup ensures a best-in-class range of up to 635 kilometres as per the WLTP test cycle, making the BMW iX xDrive50 ideal for long inter-city travels.

Design and Features

The BMW iX xDrive50 showcases a robust and dynamic exterior design, characterized by its large BMW kidney grille, the brand's narrowest headlights, frameless windows, and a distinctive rear light design. Optional BMW Laserlight technology enhances visibility with adaptive LED headlights that include a matrix function and a novel laser light module.

Wheels

The vehicle comes standard with 22-inch light-alloy wheels that have been aerodynamically optimized to reduce weight and improve the vehicle's range.

Pricing and Warranty

The BMW iX xDrive50 is priced at an ex-showroom cost of INR 1,39,50,000. It includes a standard two-year warranty with unlimited kilometres and five-year Road Side Assistance. The battery warranty is valid for eight years or up to 160,000 kilometres. Additionally, customers can opt for Repair Inclusive, extending warranty benefits to the fifth year without any mileage limitation.

This launch underlines BMW India's commitment to expanding its electric vehicle offerings, providing customers with a high-performance, long-range electric SUV option that does not compromise on luxury or driving dynamics.
