BMW G310GS Launched in India @ INR 3.49 Lakh

BMW has launched the G310GS in India for INR 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The lightweight, adventure friendly motorcycle rivals Kawasaki Versys X-300 and Royal Enfield Himalayan. The former is a twin-cylinder adventure machine while later is priced much lower in comparison. Straightway, none of the motorcycles is a direct rival to G310GS. KTM is planning a 390 Adventure motorcycle that would serve as a genuine rival to this machine. G310R has also arrived in India for INR 2.99 lakh. The fuel tank capacity, however, remains just 11-liters, limiting the use through more refills than other bikes of this segment. Long riders would benefit from the 835mm seat height while 220mm of SUV-like ground clearance further makes it a practical option. Buyers will use the long travel suspension for comfort packed ride on bumpy Indian roads. G310GS features all-digital instrument console, 169.5kg of lightweight body and manually adjustable front windshield.
