Quick Comparison: Bajaj Pulsar 180F vs Pulsar 220F

Bajaj Pulsar 180F vs Pulsar 220F (Quick Comparison): Pulsar 180F is an intelligently-introduced variant that uses the semi-faired body from the Pulsar 220F and saves a lot when it comes to the initial spending and overall ownership cost of the motorcycle. The drop in 40cc of displacement improves mileage and reduces the service cost of the motorcycle, resulting in an economical package for those who need the styling of Pulsar 220F and performance of a 180cc bike. Bajaj has introduced the Pulsar 180F at INR 86,500 while the Pulsar 220F without ABS costs INR 98,700. The initial price difference among both the bikes is INR 12,200. The prices for both the bikes are ex-showroom. The first impact of a sub-1 lakh price tag is much positive than even a figure that is a few hundred rupees over the psychological barrier of INR 1 lakh. Technically, the Pulsar 180F uses the refined motor from the commuter-specific Pulsar 180 and adds the stylish semi-faired design for just INR 1500 over the regular one. Pulsar 220F comes with a unique exhaust design while regular one is seen on the 180F. Second, the Pulsar 180F comes with Neon-inspired colour theme where monikers are painted accordingly. The 180F is powered by a 17 HP, 180cc engine while the Pulsar 220F uses an oil-cooled 220cc motor producing 20.93 HP. Bajaj is yet to introduce ABS in all variants and more than that, they have not yet listed the ABS variants of Avenger, Pulsar 220F and even the non-ABS Pulsar 180F on the website. The official launch of Pulsar 180F is expected to happen in the coming days.
